Diverse product offering from three different inventory chains needed to be integrated for real-time browsing and purchase. Develop search functions for two types of users: browsers and drill-down searchers. Design educational content that links to inventory and product descriptions that link to educational materials as a way to increase sales.
Management and art direction of designers, production designers and coders. Hire and interface with IBM Websphere developers. Hire and manage web designer with retail experience. Hire copywriter and develop educational materials.
IA and UI design, technical writing of functional specifications, compilation of product types and regions into databases. HTML coding. Development of 120 pages of educational materials and associated photos, graphics, tables and maps.

Center Revisions and HQ Redesign
2008 to 2010
Website Update: Edits in six languages for six different regional sites. Exhibits often did not have usable source files. Chinese font format had changed since creation of original web site, requiring extensive research to find a way to make revisions without rebuidling the entire Chinese website.
HQ Redesign: Source materials for large-scale graphics were of insufficient quality and resolution.
Website Update: Build extensive spread sheets to inventory all changes in all languages. Work with translation bureau to obtain and proofread all necessary translations. Create graphic standards and work with graphic artist to create revised graphics. Research and solve Chinese font problem.
HQ Redesign: Extensive testing to determine best possible method to enlarge existing photography to room size graphics. Research and selection of alternative photography when original choices were unsuitable for extreme enlargement. Art direction of photoshop expert and work with various vendors to create final large format prints.
Online Corporate Brand Center
2010 to 2012
Learn, document and train staff to use the Drupal CMS with only rudimentary training myself. Build legible and attractive pages using limited layout and typographic tools. Client wanted super fast turnaround.
Pre-launch: Establish graphic and typographic standards. Interface with client manager and creatives. Manage staff to add consistent content created from diverse and sometimes contradictory sources. Establish file formats and naming conventions derived and adapted from existing standards.
Post-launch: Develop additional pages and content. Document and provide resources for new and on-going campaigns. Creation of wire-frames and development pages for client approval. Restructure menus and overall site. Troubleshoot interface glitches. Train Citi staff in Drupal interface.
